Thank you for your interest in joining the Glowmedia Student Advisory Board. As a member of this board, you’ll collaborate with peers from across the country to shape the mental health films, campaigns, and resources we make at Glowmedia. We are looking for high school students with real perspectives, real voices, and a genuine interest in mental health advocacy.

We're not looking for students with the longest resume or the highest GPA. We just want to hear how you think. A few things to know before you start:

• This is a volunteer role. There is no cost to participate, and we will never ask you for money

• You must be a current 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grader (or equivalent), ages 13 to 19

• Board meetings are held monthly via Zoom. Day-to-day communication happens on Slack and email

• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian will need to give consent AND attend a brief 15 to 20 minute virtual parent orientation before you can officially join

• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year

• Plan to spend 25 to 30 minutes completing the application

• If writing is hard for you, you may submit short video or audio responses for any open-ended question. Send them to admin@glowmedia.org with your full name in the subject line. We weigh recorded responses exactly the same as written ones.
