King of the World

"King of the World" is a short (10-minute) film about a teenager living with bipolar disorder. C. J., a senior in high school, has been managing well with daily medications and lifestyle modifications. After being cast in the leading role for a school movie production, he begins to cycle into a manic phase. His friends become worried and try to help. C.J.’s story raises awareness about bipolar disorder and emphasizes the importance of peer and family support for those living with a mental illness.
