glow media Kicks Off Campaign to Support New Film Series

July 21, 2016

Building on the success of it’s first film, Warning: Take Only as Directed (www.WarningShortFilm.com), glow media is excited to announce it has kicked off its first fund raising campaign.  The campaign goal is $200,000 and will support the production of three new short films.  The films will focus on the following issues:

  • Eating Disorders/Body Image
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Sexual Orientation

glow media is using the IndieGoGo/Generosity platform to execute the campaign and is also accepting off-line donations.   Access the on-line campaign via https://www.generosity.com/education-fundraising/help-glowmedia-create-educational-film-series.  To contribute via a written check, send to glow media, 1875 Connecticut Ave, 10th Fl, Washington, DC 20009.

glow media is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.  All donors will receive a written confirmation with the appropriate tax information.

About glow media
There are many educational video and book series addressing mental health and other sensitive issues on the market today.  This is a good thing because teens are notoriously fickle.  A book or pamphlet that resonates with one teen experiencing a mental health issue, won't necessarily resonate with others.  What makes glow media's offerings unique is our integration of music, realistic characters and dialogue, and authentic storylines. The films come with resource guides compiled by leading experts in the mental health field, ensuring that our  data is both current and accurate. Through grants and donations glow media seeks to provide our short films and accompanying resources FREE OF CHARGE.  For more information, please visit http://www.glowmedia.org.

Those are wonderful concepts for a film. This kind of films will truly help people who are also suffering those kinds of mental illnesses on how they could cope with it or how they can dispose of it. This are films that are not just made to gain profit, but films that are made to make others feel relieved or happy. I would love to donate some funds to your other projects because I am also dedicated to helping people with mental health problems. I will try to keep in touch with you guys.
